Ticket releases, product drops, enrollment windows and benefit portals all share a problem: demand arrives all at once, for a few minutes, at a scale no reasonable server fleet is built for. The usual outcomes are a crashed site, an angry crowd, and a team refreshing dashboards at 3am.
A waiting room fixes that by turning a stampede into a steady line. Most waiting rooms, though, were built for enterprises with months to integrate them. We wanted one a small team could put in place in five minutes, that looks like their brand rather than ours, and that is honest with the people in line.
What we believe
- Fair beats fast. First come, first served, or one transparent draw. Never a hidden fast lane.
- We should never be the outage. If we're unreachable, your site opens. Admitted visitors carry passes that work without us.
- Your brand, your words. Visitors should feel they're waiting with you, not with a vendor.
- Pay for value. Visitors who never wait cost nothing.
