These terms apply when you create an account or use the Waitrooms service, dashboard, API or SDKs. By using them you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.
Your account
Keep your credentials and API keys secret, and make sure the people you invite follow these terms. You're responsible for activity in your workspace.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Waitrooms to mislead visitors, collect their data without a lawful basis, or impersonate another organization.
- Don't attempt to disrupt the service, probe other customers' rooms, or get around plan limits.
- Custom pages must not contain malware or content that's unlawful where it's shown.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Queued visitors over your plan's monthly allowance don't stop your rooms; we'll ask you to move to a suitable plan. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you've paid for.
Availability
We design Waitrooms so that your site stays reachable if our service isn't: the snippet opens your page after a timeout, and admitted visitors keep valid passes. We don't otherwise guarantee uninterrupted availability unless agreed in a separate contract.
Your content and data
You own your designs, uploads and data. You give us the rights needed to host and display them to run the service. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy and data processing addendum.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, and neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes
We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email of material changes to these terms.
