Designing the waiting page

Brand the waiting page with 30 templates, your logo, colors and 43 fonts, or write your own HTML and CSS.

Open a room's Design tab. Start from one of 30 templates, then change anything: logo, brand name, five colors, heading and body fonts, corner radius, layout, a background or side image, the headline, a notice and a link. The preview shows every state (waiting, countdown, full, your turn, ended) on desktop, tablet and phone.

Changes save as a draft. Visitors see them when you press Publish; a preview link lets others review the draft first.

Saved designs

Save as design keeps a look in your workspace library, so you can apply it to any room from the Designs page.

Custom HTML

For a fully custom page, switch to Custom HTML. Start from one of the starter layouts or write your own HTML and CSS. Values are inserted with variables:

HTML
<h1>{{brandName}}</h1>
{{#if waitTimeKnown}}
  <p>You're number {{position}}. About {{waitTime}} minutes to go.</p>
{{/if}}
{{#if isEventPrequeueing}}<p>Doors open in {{timeUntilEventStart}}.</p>{{/if}}

Available: brandName, logoUrl, position, ahead, waitTime, progress, waitTimeKnown, isEventPrequeueing, timeUntilEventStart, queueIsFull, eventEnded. Scripts don't run on custom pages; Waitrooms handles updates and the redirect for you.
