Bypass rules and VIP links
Let staff, partners or VIPs skip the line with IP, country, header, cookie or query rules and expiring links.
VIP links
Generate a link in the room's Rules tab. Anyone opening it skips the line. Set an expiry and, optionally, a maximum number of uses. The full link is shown once; we keep only a hash.
Bypass rules
| Rule | Example |
|---|---|
| IP range | 10.0.0.0/8 (IPv4 or IPv6) |
| Country | US |
| Header | x-partner-key = … (server-to-server calls) |
| Cookie | staff = 1 |
| Query parameter | ?partner=acme |
Rule values are never sent to the browser. Bypass rules are on the Scale plan.
